|2012||First Meeting||The CoEPP, Melbourne, Australia

|The 1st AsiaHEP Meeting was held at Melborne, Australia in July 2012 hosted
by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Particle Physics at the Terascale (CoEPP).
The initial members of the AsiaHEP (Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and Taiwan) discussed how to decide an organizational framework of the Panel, including its missions, bylaws, structure and membership.
The group invited the chairs of the Funding Agencies for Large Colliders (FALC), the International Linear Collider Steering Committee (ILCSC) and the Asian Linear Collider Steering Committee (ALCSC), as well as the representatives from the Japan Association of High Energy Physics (JAHEP), the European Strategy Group and the KEK Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies (IPNS) to the meeting in order to hear global trend and current particle physics activities worldwide.

by the Budker Institutue of Nuclear physics (BINP).
