4. Membership Review

Bangladesh was approved unanimously as a new member of ACFA. The number of regional/country members becomes twelve (12) with one observer (Singapore).

5. Reports and Discussions on the ACFA Working Groups

  1. High Power Proton Accelerator (HPPA) Working Group
Prof. Fang of IHEP reported that the first HPPA W/G meeting was held in February 2001 in Daeduck, Korea. And the second W/G meeting will be held on September 20, 2001 during this conference period.

  2. Electronic Publication Working Group
Prof. Y. Chin of KEK reported that PAC/EPAC/APAC collaboration of e-publication, and standard procedures were established under Joint Accelerator Conference Website (JACoW). A brief report on JACoW team meeting held during PAC01 in Chicago was also reported. The immediate task to be solved is to establish a mirror site of JACoW at KEK.

  3. Study Group for Physics/Detectors at LC
Prof. S. Iwata of KEK reported that the 3rd W/G Workshop was held in Taipei on August 2000, and the 4th Workshop is planned in Beijing in 2001.

  4. Network Working Group
